Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Are you ready to take your behavior analytic skills in a new direction that is challenging, flexible and rewarding? Forward Integrated Services, Inc. is seeking a BCBA or BCaBA to work with our team of dynamic behavior analysts who provide unique and life changing services for clients and families. Our dedicated agency is made up of ethical behavior analysts whose main focus is providing empowering and client centered services to families with children with special needs, ranging from coordination of support to parent training and coaching.
Primary Responsibilities ● Provide regular virtual training sessions to parents and other relevant caregivers. ● Maintain a caseload of assigned clients, connecting with families on a regular basis. ● Develop training materials and provide resources for parents/caregivers/community stakeholders as needed. ● Independently manage your own schedule to work the designated number of weekly hours. ● Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client tasks within each client’s portal. ● Willingly seek out support and suggestions from fellow team members. ● Connect with community stakeholders to gather support for a family. ● Equip parents and caregivers utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. ● Effectively communicate and train families in a virtual environment. ● Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and create creative behavior support plans in response to problem behavior that are able to be implemented in the home. ● Virtually observe clients and families to identify appropriate goals and teaching steps. ● Regularly meet with other team members for discussion and training on relevant topics. ● Regularly review client goals and progress toward those goals to ensure client success.
Required Skills/Abilities ● Maintain relevant training and/or certifications as BCaBA or BCBA ● Demonstrate expertise in the area of data collection and behavior analysis. ● Must be able to identify and resolve obstacles in a timely manner; gather and analyze data; develop alternative solutions and must work well in a group problem solving situation. ● Demonstrate the ability to professionally communicate with parents/caregivers and community stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. ● Competently multitask (including timely client documentation) while simultaneously managing required hours. ● Work independently while seeking out support in a timely fashion when needed. ● Minimum of two years experience working with families in the special needs community.
